We prefer to hire divemasters for the season, which we have trained ourselves. You also have the opportunity to continue your professional training with us. You can participate in the Assistant Instructor course.
Description
The Divemaster training is the beginning of the vocational training as a diving instructor.
Graduates of this course can be employed at all dive centers around the world.
Preconditions
- RESCUE Diver or equivalent certification
- Emergency First Response (EFR) or equivalent CPR training certificate
- Minimum age 18 years
- Valid diving medical certificate
- At least 40 dives (60 dives for testing) in the logbook
- Complete own equipment
Course Content
The course lasts about 3 months. The participant must fully participate in the ongoing operation of the diving school as if he were a member of the team. He should accompany courses, lead diving groups (guiding) and learn to carry out introductory dives independently. Maintenance, filling bottles, tidying up, customer service, sales, logistics and organization are also part of the daily course content.
We train our Divemaster candidates during the ongoing operation of the diving school.
The Divemaster should be able to assist a diving instructor in his training activities
- Make animation in the pool
- Conducts exercises with students and DSDs under the supervision of the instructor
- Leads most diving excursions with certified divers independently
- Advises clients
- Sells equipment
- Is firmly integrated into the daily routine of material maintenance and bottle filling
