That’s why we offer everyone who want to scubadive on vacation places, the right preparatory vacation scubadiving course.
A diving certificate for scubadives up to 12 meters under the direct supervision of a dive guide. This course consists of the first parts of the Open Water Diver course. By completing the remaining parts, you can easily upgrade this course to the Open Water Diver course. This is the complete scubadiving certificate, which we can offer in one day (on a Saturday or as a customized course on a day of your choice).
With this diving certificate you can “self-contained” to 18m diving. You should do the open water dives where you go scubadiving later. These are an important part of the training and help you to get to know the new medium. The sea has currents, tides and waves. The entry techniques are usually different from those in the lake and other things must be considered. You will not encounter the suits used in the lake in most vacation areas.
So scubadives in the lake are not good preparation for scubadives in the typical holiday areas. The special thing about our vacation diving courses is that you do the first parts of the scubadiving course with us and complete the scubadiving course at a vacation destination of your choice. Which parts you complete here and which ones on vacation are left to you. Our recommendation is: Make the theory comfortably at home on your PC or tablet and relax with us the swimming pool skilltraining. All you need is a Saturday (all day) or 2 evenings.
Thus you are well prepared for the open water dives and of course you receive this confirmed in the form of a transfer slip from us. This transfer is internationally recognised. Since the scubadiving courses of many scubadiving organizations allow the scubadiving instructors to do exercises in which situation is always allowed to do with only one scubadiver student, this must also be used for the vacation diving courses. Therefore, we recommend choosing a course with a low number of participants in the vacation diving courses. With this bank transfer you will perform the scubadives at a scubadive center of your choice. The issuing of the scubadiving certificate can then be carried out again by us, or from the scubadivecenter on site. Just as you like.
For all certified scubadivers who want to refresh their skills and knowledge, there are refresher courses available, both theoretical and practical.
With the refresher course, you’ll be perfectly prepared for the check dive.
You can also complete the open water dives with our colleagues.
e.g., at Ducks Diving in Egypt, Divecenter Krk in Croatia, Petrodivers in Mallorca, or another dive center of your choice.
In our opinion, the scubadivecenters listed are among the best local dive centers and, depending on the distance, are ideal for a long weekend or a longer diving vacation during which the open water dives are conducted.
Egypt is considered one of the most fish-rich and colorful scubadiving areas in the world, making the scubadives a fantastic experience.
The island of Krk is also quickly accessible by plane or car.

For your vacation scubadiving course, you have the option of completing the first two of four open water dives with us at an indoor divecenter for an additional charge.
This will provide you with even more safety and relaxation during your vacation dives.
