Now the 2023 diving season has opened here in Germany, the diving centers have spruced themselves up and the weather is showing its best side. The sun’s rays not only warm up the skin, but also the German lakes. Everywhere it smells of spring and the weather shows itself from the most beautiful side. What could be nicer than jumping into the cool water on a bright, beautiful spring day?
The Stechlinsee is a natural lake in the north of the Brandenburg region with an area of 412 hectares. At around 70 meters it is the deepest lake in Brandenburg and was known in the past for its excellent water quality. The nutrient-poor waters let in a lot of light and offer visibility of up to 10 mtr. However, we will hardly go deeper than 20 mtr. dive because the deeper places are too far away from the dive center.
With its diverse flora and fauna, the lake is a must in every log book.
Since it worked so well last time, we’ll meet right at the base.
